In the Lychakiv cemetery are buried famous representatives of science and culture among them writers Ivan Franko, Hryhorii Tiutiunnyk, Iryna Vilde, Roman Ivanychuk; poets Vasyl Pachovskyi, Andrii Voloshchak, Mariika Pidhirianka, Ihor Rymaruk, Roman Lubkivskyi; opera singer Solomiia Krushelnytska, composers Stanislav Liudkevych, Anatolii Kos-Anatolskyi, Volodymyr Ivasiuk, Myroslav Skoryk, Ihor Bilozir; artists and art experts Ivan Trush, Ilarion Sventsitskyi, Roman and Marhit Selski, Hryhorii Smolskyi, Mykola Bidniak, Yakiv Hnizdovskyi, Volodymyr Ovsiichuk.

For Lychakiv cemetery worked and found eternal peace sculpturers Teodoziia Bryzh, Petro Kulyk, Luka Bihanych, Emmanuil Mysko, Yakiv Chaika, Mykola Posikira.

Place of honor in Lychakiv necropolis take graves of public and political figures Yevhen Petrushevych, Oleksandr Tysovskyi, Mykhailo Halushchynskyi, Dmytro Vitovskyi, Lev Rebet, Milena Rudnytska, Olena Stepaniv, Mykhailo Soroka, Kateryna Zarytska, Iryna Kalynets and many others.

There are graves of famous polish figures Mariia Konopnytska, Habrielia Zapolska, Stefan Banakh, Artur Hrotther, Zyhmunt Horholevskyi, Franciszek Smolka, Franciszek Stefchyk, Kazymyr Tvardovskyi.

 

 

Yulian Dorosh (1909-1982) - photographer-artist, pioneer of Ukrainian cinematography in Galicia, ethnographer, local historian in Galicia, ethnographer, local historian.

Andrii Dorosh (1948-2009) - historian, art critic, completist, Son of Yulian Dorosh. Field 21.


Oleksandra Kryvytska (1899-1983) - actress, pedagogue, People's Artist, public figure. Field 3. 


Volodymyr Ovsiichuk (1924-2016) - art critic, pedagogue, professor of the Lviv National Academy of Arts, Head of the Art History Department of the Institute of folk studies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Artist. Field 67.


Emmanuil Mysko (1929-2000) - rector of the Lviv National Academy of Arts, sculptor, national artist, full member of the Academy of arts of Ukraine, winner of the Shevchenko prize. Field 67.


Andrii Polishchuk (1906-2002) - opera and concert singer, played the main role in the first West Ukrainian film “Do Dobra I Krasu” (“To Good and Beauty”) (1937-1938). Field 79.


Hryhorii Chubai (1949-1982) - poet, translator, author of the “Vertep” (The Nativity Play; Vertep). Field 5. 


Yevhen Kurtiak (1936-1996) - writer, publicist, author of the novel “Governor's ramparts”. Field 5. 


Nazar Honchar (1964-2009) - poet and performer, co-founder of the literary group "LUHOSAD". Winner of the Bu-Ba-Bu award for the best poem of 1989. Field 78. (sc. O. Kapustiak, 2013)


Olena Stepaniv (1892-1963) - public and military activist, historian, geographer, pedagogue, khorunzha (сornet) of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen, prisoner of Soviet camps. Field 64. (sc. I. Samotos, arch. V. Kamenshchyk, 2008)


Oleksa Novakivskyi (1872-1935) - an outstanding painter and pedagogue, founder of the Art School in Lviv (1921-1935), which became a well-known center of painting culture in Western Ukraine. Field 59.
