In the Lychakiv cemetery are buried famous representatives of science and culture among them writers Ivan Franko, Hryhorii Tiutiunnyk, Iryna Vilde, Roman Ivanychuk; poets Vasyl Pachovskyi, Andrii Voloshchak, Mariika Pidhirianka, Ihor Rymaruk, Roman Lubkivskyi; opera singer Solomiia Krushelnytska, composers Stanislav Liudkevych, Anatolii Kos-Anatolskyi, Volodymyr Ivasiuk, Myroslav Skoryk, Ihor Bilozir; artists and art experts Ivan Trush, Ilarion Sventsitskyi, Roman and Marhit Selski, Hryhorii Smolskyi, Mykola Bidniak, Yakiv Hnizdovskyi, Volodymyr Ovsiichuk.

For Lychakiv cemetery worked and found eternal peace sculpturers Teodoziia Bryzh, Petro Kulyk, Luka Bihanych, Emmanuil Mysko, Yakiv Chaika, Mykola Posikira.

Place of honor in Lychakiv necropolis take graves of public and political figures Yevhen Petrushevych, Oleksandr Tysovskyi, Mykhailo Halushchynskyi, Dmytro Vitovskyi, Lev Rebet, Milena Rudnytska, Olena Stepaniv, Mykhailo Soroka, Kateryna Zarytska, Iryna Kalynets and many others.

There are graves of famous polish figures Mariia Konopnytska, Habrielia Zapolska, Stefan Banakh, Artur Hrotther, Zyhmunt Horholevskyi, Franciszek Smolka, Franciszek Stefchyk, Kazymyr Tvardovskyi.

 

 

Yaroslav Pidstryhach (1928-1990) - mathematician, academician of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, scientist in the field of theoretical mechanics. Field 55.


Sydir Holubovych (1873-1938) - political and public figure, Chairman of the Council of state secretaries of the ZUNR, deputy of the Austrian and Galician parliaments. Field 64.


Roman Viktiuk (1936-2020) – theatre director and actor, People's Artist of Ukraine, main director and art director of Roman Viktiuk Theatre. Field 70.


Volodymyr Kashytskyi (1913-2001) - public and cultural figure, philanthropist, honorary citizen of the city of Lviv. Field 52.


Ivan Kyveliuk (1866-1922) - lawyer, public figure, chairman of the Prosvita society in 1910-1922, delegate of the Ukrainian National Council of the ZUNR (West Ukrainian National Republic). Field 5. 


Mykhailo Rudnytskyi (1889-1975) - literary scholar, writer, literary critic, translator, professor of Lviv University. Field 54.

Milena Rudnytska (1898-1976) - public and political figure, one of the leading activists of the Ukrainian women's movement, chairman of the Central Council of the Union of Ukrainian women, journalist, writer. Field 54.


Roman Fedoriv (1930-2001) - writer, journalist, winner of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize, editor of the magazine “Dzvin” (“Bell”), author of the novel “Jerusalem in the mountains”. Field 3. 


Zenovii Flinta (1935-1988) - painter, graphic artist, ceramic artist. Field 21.


Olha Khoruzhynska-Franko (1864-1941) - public figure and publisher, wife of Ivan Franko. Field 4.


Bohdan-Yurii Yanivskyi (1941-2005) - composer, pianist, pedagogue. Honored Artist of Ukraine, national artist, laureate of the Taras Shevchenko National Prize. Field 51.
