In the Lychakiv cemetery are buried famous representatives of science and culture among them writers Ivan Franko, Hryhorii Tiutiunnyk, Iryna Vilde, Roman Ivanychuk; poets Vasyl Pachovskyi, Andrii Voloshchak, Mariika Pidhirianka, Ihor Rymaruk, Roman Lubkivskyi; opera singer Solomiia Krushelnytska, composers Stanislav Liudkevych, Anatolii Kos-Anatolskyi, Volodymyr Ivasiuk, Myroslav Skoryk, Ihor Bilozir; artists and art experts Ivan Trush, Ilarion Sventsitskyi, Roman and Marhit Selski, Hryhorii Smolskyi, Mykola Bidniak, Yakiv Hnizdovskyi, Volodymyr Ovsiichuk.

For Lychakiv cemetery worked and found eternal peace sculpturers Teodoziia Bryzh, Petro Kulyk, Luka Bihanych, Emmanuil Mysko, Yakiv Chaika, Mykola Posikira.

Place of honor in Lychakiv necropolis take graves of public and political figures Yevhen Petrushevych, Oleksandr Tysovskyi, Mykhailo Halushchynskyi, Dmytro Vitovskyi, Lev Rebet, Milena Rudnytska, Olena Stepaniv, Mykhailo Soroka, Kateryna Zarytska, Iryna Kalynets and many others.

There are graves of famous polish figures Mariia Konopnytska, Habrielia Zapolska, Stefan Banakh, Artur Hrotther, Zyhmunt Horholevskyi, Franciszek Smolka, Franciszek Stefchyk, Kazymyr Tvardovskyi.

 

 

Osyp Kurylas (1870-1951) - artist, graphic artist, head of the art department of the Press Office of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen Legion of the USS ((Ukrainski Sichovi Striltsi ) the Press Kvatyra Ukrainskykh Sichovykh Striltsiv) Field 1.


Yevhen Lysyk (1930-1991) - theater artist, chief artist of the Lviv opera house, National artist of Ukraine. Field 67.


Pavlo Liskevych (1891-1918) - poruchnyk (lieutenant) of the Austrian artillery, chetar UGA. Field 85.


Kostiantyna Malytska (1872-1947) - writer, pedagogue, activist of cultural and educational societies in Galicia, author of the song “Chom, chom, chom, zemle moya” ("Why, why, why, my land"). Field 5. 


Stepan Masliak (1895-1960) - writer, pedagogue, translator. Field 1.


Orest Matsiuk (1932-1999) - historian, archivist, local historian, professor, Doctor of historical sciences, director of the Central State Historical Archive of Ukraine in Lviv, Honored Worker of culture of Ukraine. Field 49.


Yaroslava Muzyka (1894-1973)-graphic artist, collector, public figure. Field 13.


Hryhorii Nudha (1913-1994) - writer, folklorist, literary critic, cultural critic, historian of Ukrainian literature. Field 71.


Oleh Romaniv (1928-2005) - doctor of Technical Sciences, honored worker of Science and technology of Ukraine, scientist in the field of materials mechanics, Chairman of the Taras Shevchenko Scientific Society in Ukraine, General Secretary of the NTS world Council. Field 12.


Ivan Rubchak (1874-1952) - opera singer and actor. He worked in the theater of the initial team of the Ukrainian Galician Army, then in the Lviv Opera House and the Lviv drama theater named after M. Zankovetska. Field 4.
