In the Lychakiv cemetery are buried famous representatives of science and culture among them writers Ivan Franko, Hryhorii Tiutiunnyk, Iryna Vilde, Roman Ivanychuk; poets Vasyl Pachovskyi, Andrii Voloshchak, Mariika Pidhirianka, Ihor Rymaruk, Roman Lubkivskyi; opera singer Solomiia Krushelnytska, composers Stanislav Liudkevych, Anatolii Kos-Anatolskyi, Volodymyr Ivasiuk, Myroslav Skoryk, Ihor Bilozir; artists and art experts Ivan Trush, Ilarion Sventsitskyi, Roman and Marhit Selski, Hryhorii Smolskyi, Mykola Bidniak, Yakiv Hnizdovskyi, Volodymyr Ovsiichuk.

For Lychakiv cemetery worked and found eternal peace sculpturers Teodoziia Bryzh, Petro Kulyk, Luka Bihanych, Emmanuil Mysko, Yakiv Chaika, Mykola Posikira.

Place of honor in Lychakiv necropolis take graves of public and political figures Yevhen Petrushevych, Oleksandr Tysovskyi, Mykhailo Halushchynskyi, Dmytro Vitovskyi, Lev Rebet, Milena Rudnytska, Olena Stepaniv, Mykhailo Soroka, Kateryna Zarytska, Iryna Kalynets and many others.

There are graves of famous polish figures Mariia Konopnytska, Habrielia Zapolska, Stefan Banakh, Artur Hrotther, Zyhmunt Horholevskyi, Franciszek Smolka, Franciszek Stefchyk, Kazymyr Tvardovskyi.

Volodymyr Hnatiuk (1871-1926) - ethnographer, folklorist, literary critic, translator, secretary of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Lviv, chairman of the Ethnographic Commission of the Shevchenko Scientific Society, academician of The National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Field 5. Ariadna Trush (1877-1954) - wife of the famous artist Ivan Trush, daughter of public and cultural figure Mykhailo Drahomanov, cousin of Lesia Ukrainka. Field 4. (sc. Ya. Motyka)


Yurii Shkrumeliak (1895-1965) - journalist, poet, translator, children's writer, author of works about the liberation struggle of the USS-UGA, Sichovyi Strilets. Field 12.


Antin Lototskyi (1881-1949) - historian, writer, journalist, publisher. Head of the USS, participant of the national liberation struggle of 1918-1919, active figure of the Press Office of the Ukrainian Sich Riflemen (Ukrainski sichovi striltsi [USS] Presova kvartyra Ukrainskykh Sichovykh Striltsiv). Anatol Vakhnianyn (1841-1908) - public figure, composer, pedagogue. Field 72.
