In the Lychakiv cemetery are buried famous representatives of science and culture among them writers Ivan Franko, Hryhorii Tiutiunnyk, Iryna Vilde, Roman Ivanychuk; poets Vasyl Pachovskyi, Andrii Voloshchak, Mariika Pidhirianka, Ihor Rymaruk, Roman Lubkivskyi; opera singer Solomiia Krushelnytska, composers Stanislav Liudkevych, Anatolii Kos-Anatolskyi, Volodymyr Ivasiuk, Myroslav Skoryk, Ihor Bilozir; artists and art experts Ivan Trush, Ilarion Sventsitskyi, Roman and Marhit Selski, Hryhorii Smolskyi, Mykola Bidniak, Yakiv Hnizdovskyi, Volodymyr Ovsiichuk.

For Lychakiv cemetery worked and found eternal peace sculpturers Teodoziia Bryzh, Petro Kulyk, Luka Bihanych, Emmanuil Mysko, Yakiv Chaika, Mykola Posikira.

Place of honor in Lychakiv necropolis take graves of public and political figures Yevhen Petrushevych, Oleksandr Tysovskyi, Mykhailo Halushchynskyi, Dmytro Vitovskyi, Lev Rebet, Milena Rudnytska, Olena Stepaniv, Mykhailo Soroka, Kateryna Zarytska, Iryna Kalynets and many others.

There are graves of famous polish figures Mariia Konopnytska, Habrielia Zapolska, Stefan Banakh, Artur Hrotther, Zyhmunt Horholevskyi, Franciszek Smolka, Franciszek Stefchyk, Kazymyr Tvardovskyi.

 

 

Leopold Levytskyi (1906-1973) - avant-garde artist, graphic artist, abstract sculptor. Field 4. (sc. T. Bryzh, 1978).


Ivan Trush (1869-1941) - impressionist painter, portrait artist, art critic. Field 1.


Ivan Krypiakevych (1886-1967) - historian, scientist, author of textbooks on the history of Ukraine. Field 59. (sc. T. Bryzh, 1986).


Omelian Ohonovskyi (1833-1894) - literary critic, linguist, writer, public figure. Field 1.


Mariia Konopnytska (1842-1910) - novelist, poet, literary critic, writer of children's and young adult literature. Field 1. (sk. L. Drexler, gravestone refurbished by sc. V. Skolozdra in 1950).


Habrielia Zapolska (1857-1921) - writer and actress, author of the famous play "The Morality of Mrs. Dulska". Field 1.


Stefan Banakh (1892-1945) - famous mathematician, theorist of functional analysis. One of the founders of the Lviv Mathematical School. Field 1.


Karol Shainokha (1818-1868) - historian, publicist, editor. Field 58. (sc. P. Filippi, 1872).


Severyn Hoshchynskyi (1801-1876) - poet, critic, politician, participant of the anti-Russian November Uprising of 1830-1831. Field 1. (sc. Yu. Markovskyi, end of XIXth century).


Artur Hrotther (1837-1867) - battle painter, representative of romanticism in Polish art. Field 5. (sc. P. Filippi).
